Hi there! My name is Chelsea! I’m a mom to 3 wonderfully spunky children and wife to a handsome hubby!

I am a lover of Jesus, family, coffee, everything DIY, red wine, and of course photography. I have the best parents a girl could ask for!! My mom is my go-to craft buddy, prop builder, biggest cheerleader and my awesome assistant for all the babies! My dad passed away a few years ago and while he was an awesome dad, he was a stinker about having his picture taken. Which is why I always encourage my clients to get in the pictures with your kids - you never know when those pictures will be the only treasured memory you'll have of your loved one!

My enthusiasm for photography started in 2010 with the birth of my first daughter. I started my business in August 2014, opened the studio in July 2016, and it has been quite an adventure this entire time. Newborns are my jam! Meeting new people (especially tiny babies), coming up with unique ideas for sessions, and creating new props (which happens often!) are just a few of my favorite things. I have gone to great lengths to invest (and create) in props, headbands, hats, maternity gowns, wraps, backdrops, and so much more so that when you choose Chelsea Valene Photography (me) for capturing your precious moments, you will have full peace of mind knowing the studio has all the work done for you.
